Hello I’m Dani :)
I’m a New York native and moved to Chicago in 2019. Growing up there I spent most of my time playing guitar and biking all over the city. There were a lot of art scenes that I became involved in and worked my way to creating some dope stuff with some pretty cool artists.
I learned a lot of my skills in the trades through my father. Eventually I saw how I was able to apply my skills towards my other hobbies. I started doing art installations for shows which propelled my interest in woodworking.
When I got to Chicago I started working in the restaurant industry. I loved every bit of it, and it was exactly what I needed to heal from my own personal struggles leaving NYC behind.
I’ve always had a hard struggle with my own mental illness. It took a lot of self discovery and change in my environment to find a balance among the madness. So much so that I’ve learned the importance of having a well nurtured environment to promote well being. It is my hope that I help people curate their environment exactly the way they want it.
Through this journey I wish to learn as much as I can. Aside from running this business I also manage a food truck (Yum Dum Food Truck) and working to get a few IT certifications as well. I hope that I’ll be able to serve the people of Chicago until my next adventure.
